PARENT MESSAGING
SMS Program Terms
Effective September 11, 2026 · Douglas Monsky / BucsHQ Parent Messaging
Program and eligibility
Douglas Monsky / BucsHQ Parent Messaging provides non-marketing assignment and assessment reminders, classroom updates and parent-conference coordination. This program is for parents and guardians who are subscribers or authorized users of the submitted mobile number.
Optional participation
Opt in by checking the separate SMS consent box on the online form or checking and signing the paper form. Leaving the box unchecked does not subscribe you. Consent is not required for enrollment, instruction, grades, services or purchase. Other school communication channels remain available.
Frequency, charges and delivery
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Delivery depends on your carrier and is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. This is not an emergency service or a continuously monitored channel.
STOP and HELP
Reply STOP to unsubscribe. You may receive a final confirmation of your opt-out. Reply HELP for assistance, or email douglas.monsky1@hcps.net. Reply START to request resubscription after opting out. Tell the teacher if you change or relinquish your mobile number.
Signup and activation
Submitting the form records your choice; it does not immediately activate texting. Signup requests are reviewed by the teacher. Messages begin only after the program is approved and the applicable consent is confirmed. This form does not override an existing STOP request.
Privacy
The program's SMS Privacy Policy explains how information and consent records are used. Contact douglas.monsky1@hcps.net with questions about these terms or the privacy policy.
